Drinks All Around!
So the hubby and I took a summer weekend trip to our favorite summer get away Las Vegas baby! We decided to spend our day at the Flamingo Adult pool. It was a small oasis with flamingo fountains and white geek columns lining the oval pool with super cute waitreses, dj, and full bar. We were already sold on the place becuase it only cost $20 for my husband and ladies were free plus we made it past security with our water bottles filled with Caribian Rum. We were loving it listening to music, making our mixed drinks, and taking in the scene that was starting to pump up and heat up. There was a mixutre of all kinds of people, young couples, single girls and guys, and some older couples. There was even a family with two twin girls wtih Down Syndrom that were dressed alike in red swimsuites and bows in their hair. They had to be 18 to get into the pool but I thought it was awesome that they were getting to experiecne all of the vegas experience. The Stoley girls showed up and the crowed was getting tipsy. Hubby and I had purchased a few drinks so we could add our own mixed pleasure into the purchased cups so we looked lagit. As the stoley girls came around with free jello shots I gulped a few down and noticed the Twins got into them as well. I thought well good for them they should get to enjoy themselves as well. I was thinking what happened to their parents but thought they must be enjoing some time relaxing as well. The sun was hot and the Stoley girls weregoing around pouring shots into everyones mouths. It was getting crazy! All os a sudden as I was perched on the lounge chair talking to my hubby as he was at the edge of the pool I notice one of the twins had taken his drink and took a big all swig! That so didn't just happen. I yelled to my husband and he quickly got it from the girl. You could tell as she had a huge smile was bobing around in the pool this girl was hammered. I looked at my husband and we both busted out laughing! We coulnd' believe what just happened. Seriously! We were glad the girl was having a fun time but we couldnt get over the fact thay my husbands drink was swiped by an underage girl with Downs. As we were conncered for the well being of the young girl I noticed her mom finally appeared and seemed to take in that her daughter was drunk. What a pool party! Next time we know to watch our drinks!
